Technically, North Phoenix is anywhere north of Washington Avenue, as that is the north/south dividing line for Phoenix, AZ. But typically the area north of the Phoenix Mountain Preserve is considered North Phoenix, bounded on the west by I-17 and on the east by Tatum Blvd.
